Yesterday I made truffles, and boy (or girl) are they good! The only thing that’s not good is that you eat too much chocolate!
So for the ones that like to try it out here is the recipe:
ingredients:
200 gram pure chocolate (cut into pieces)
10 cl (1dl, 0.1l) cream
3 table spoons of rum
1 spoon of butter
and some cacao
How to do it:
- put the cream and chocolate in a cooking pot and let it melt. When it’s melted add the butter and the rum to it. Let it get hot so it can mix.
- let the mixture cool down (put the mixture in the fridge or something) until it starts to get hard, but doesn’t break.
- In the mean while put a plate in the fridge so it can get cold.
- When the paste is hard you make little humps with your hand (a truffle is never completely round, the form doesn’t really matter) and make sure your hands are cold so the chocolate doesn’t melt. And rub them in the cacao so the outside is covered with cacao. And place them on the cold plate.
- Keep them in the fridge until you serve them, because they melt easily.
Bon appetite chocolate lovers!
